Originally from Detroit, MI, Corey moved to New York City to attend the New York Film Academy where he was the recipient of the Brett Ratner grant for his work in film.

Upon graduating, Corey began his now, 8 year professional career, with his first project in the NYC 48 film festival (The Journal) as a writer, producer and actor which would go on to win Best Picture and Best Writing. Since then, he has gone on to create the popular online series "The Shorts Show" which has amassed more than 20 million views via Funny or Die and been featured on Good Morning America, Huffington Post and UpWorthy.

Corey first began his work with SWOON as a colorist and editor for several of their online campaigns before moving onto helping produce a few of their latest television productions. With his experience in front of and behind the camera, Corey has become a hybrid producer / filmmaker at SWOON, capable of guiding a project from concept phase all the way to color correction final delivery.

He has just recently finished his feature film directorial debut with his addition to PRISM: anthology and his chapter "Little Pink Houses" premiering at the Art of Brooklyn Film Festival summer of 2017. He looks to begin his 2nd feature in late 2017.
