Diego Chiri

Diego Chiri is a bilingual actor and stage director originally from Lima, Peru and currently living in New York City. He came to the United States in 2006 to study theatre and video production.

He graduated from Bucknell University with Cum Laude honors with a concentration in directing for the stage. In 2014, he became a member of the off-Broadway company Repertorio Español (Spanish Reperory Theatre), where he has worked in several productions as a director, assistant director and as an actor. In addition, he works at TimeLine Video, a media production company in Westchester, NY.

Diego Chiri is a member of Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society and has received the Jack Kent Cooke Foundation Scholarship, the CCP Foundation Scholarship, and the Van Lier Fellowship. His theatrical work in NYC has received several HOLA, ACE, ATI and FUERZA awards, including the 2016 HOLA Award for Outstanding Achievement in Direction for the play "La gran Semíramis".
