Raised across the world, Pedro was brought up believing it was normal to not "belong"
anywhere, and that a "home" was just a warm word to describe a two or three-year
shelter. As he got older he realized that wasn't the norm, but for a child of diplomatic
parents, it could be.
Traveling through and living in countries of extreme poverty and conflict, he surrounded himself with stories; those stored in VHS tapes and eventually onto DVDs that would somehow ground him while letting him escape.

As his surroundings kept on changing, like going from Sub-Saharan landscapes to Southeast Asian tropical sceneries, his one constant was always
the movies.
It was natural to him, that Los Angeles would be the north star on his map - the final frontier - home. So, at the age of 18, he moved to LA to speak the one language that he knew somewhat fluently: film.
